Death is something that few people are ever really prepared for. When a loved one passes away, whether the death has been expected or sudden, it can be a distressing time for families with lots of uncertainty .
This is where we at Alex Little Funeral Directors can help you through the bereavement journey and provide comprehensive, professional advice and support. When someone passes away our dedicated and loyal team are here for you around the clock, offering a 24 hour service. Give us a call and let us assist and guide you through the process thereafter.
An appointment can be arranged for you and your family to meet with the Funeral Director. This appointment can be within the comfort of your own home or within the quite, peaceful surroundings of our funeral home, whichever is your preferred choice.
We will gently guide you through what requires to be done from registering the death until after the funeral and beyond.
We will arrange everything that is required for a funeral ensuring that your wishes are fully carried out throughout the process. We take pride in ensuring that every funeral should be different to reflect the character of the deceased person and the needs of the family.
We can organise specific transport such as horse and carriage or motorbike hearse as well as the traditional funeral transport, obituary notices, floral tributes, funeral stationery, funeral keepsakes, or indeed the funeral can be as modest as the family choose.
Our top priority is and always will be to meet the individual needs and address any concerns that the family may have. We pride ourselves in doing everything possible to provide a professional service to honour and rememberthe person who has passed away.
My father, Ian Henderson, passed away late on Friday 1st September, and staying away from the area I went to Alex and Davina on recommendation. My Dad was looked after and we met with Davina at Abbotsford Nursing Home with my mum to make all the necessary arrangements. Her experience, understanding nature and knowledge helped make some difficult decisions more easy and was invaluable. Nothing was too much bother and regular contact was kept. Staying 100 miles away this gave us peace of mind. The funeral itself ran smoothly and exactly to plan. I would also like to thank Gillian for a very comforting service at the crematorium. Alex and Davina do a fantastic job for families in difficult circumstances and I can't thank them enough for everything xxMrs Lorna Wallace
